The Hit List: week 153 (March 25 - March 31)
Shordie Shordie - OkOk: B-More spitter Shordie Shordie dropped a new loosie and it’s flames. He uses his signature melodic delivery to sing to his bae. All them other niggas don’t love her like he do. His pockets getting fat like Norbit and if the opps play with him he’ll send their souls into orbit.
Lil Rae & Wee2Hard - So Many Chains: I’m a sucker for a sample and this track samples Biggie’s classic “Big Poppa”. The producer flipped it into an uptempo bop and Rae & Wee both slid.
Lil Skies - Call Me: Skies dropped a new project this week called “Out Ur Body Music”. The first track slaps and it samples a track I still listen to, Joell Ortiz’s “Call Me”. Obvi he’s rapping to that special someone and asks her to give him a ring (and he might give her one in return).
YTB Fatt - Same: Fatt dropped a new track this week that samples Usher and He Who May Not Be Named’s track “Same Girl”. He raps about stacking up racks in the duffle and hitting a bad bitty from the back. Shawty said she like fat guys and that’s how he figured out she was also smashing the homie (hence the title).
Z-Ro ft. Paul Wall - Still Shinin’: Z-Ro dropped a new album this week called “The Ghetto Gospel”. It features an utterly hilarious intro track featuring comedian Billy Sorrells (I had that shit on repeat) and this collab track with Paul Wall that samples The Gap Band’s smash it “Outstanding”. Perfect track to cruise in the whip with the top (or the windows) down. Crawlin on 84’s (or whatever it is you pushing).
Sheensea - Die For You: So the first time I heard Shenseea I was in Chicago at Ye’s Donda listening party. Me and everyone else was wondering who she was (we thought she was Rih and also Teyana Taylor). Well she’s skyrocketed since then, carving out a lane for herself with her sultry vocals and distinct voice. She dropped an A1 loosie and from the title you can tell it’s about her being down for her nigga.
Bfb Da Packman ft. 03 Greedo - On You Bad: Bfb generated a lot of pub for his new album “Forget Me Not” when it seemed Drake would appear on it. Unfortunately (probably due to Kendrick’s diss), Drake was absent but the album dropped and it’s gas. My favorite track “On You Bad” is dedicated to the ladies. These two portly gentlemen get plenty of box and this track is to show their appreciation to the tings.
Maxo Kream ft. That Mexican OT - Talkin In Screw: Two of Texas’ finest. “I be on lean like fat nigga shoes” Bitches drinking skeet like protein. Ol Skool Cali vibes. Me likey.
ZayBang ft. Ralfy The Plug - Geeked Up: New Album: “March Madness Vol. 2”. Wavy Vibes. Zay tried to put his niggas on (he wasn’t able). God’s plan. Just tryna fuck (no hickies). Ralfy don’t fuck with unstable bitties. Mad chains & whips (like DaJango).
